David has been in desperate need of a haircut for about 2 weeks now. I was going to take him today to get it done when I decided that $15 was just too much for a child's haircut and decided to cut it myself. I was thinking it couldn't be that hard. I have watched the ladies cut it at the kiddie salon and I am pretty sure I can do this. So I put a movie on, laid some towels on the floor, and strapped him in the booster seat. He is usually really good and doesn't fight the lady cutting his hair. Well, when I am the one cutting his hair, he fights! He let me get a couple of good shaves in before he started fighting. This way there was no turning back, I just had to keep going. Katie was there helping so she had to hold his head still at some parts because he was going crazy just shaking his head as fast as he could while screaming. Needless to say, he does not have the best haircut. While trying to trim around his ears he was moving so much that I clipped it too high and short but oh well! His hair is cut and it looks decent over all but I think I will go back to paying $15 to let someone else cut his hair while he calmly watches a movie.

I have been there and done that - except David's haircut looks really good and poor Garrett's hair was simply a mess when I got done with it. :) I, too, am soo sorry for not connecting with you in time. On our drive to Tennessee I was thinking about you guys and wishing that had worked out, but like you our lives are crazy so I totally understand and take the blame too. We plan on coming thru Dallas again so we will have to make a point to get together with you or if you ever want to take a road trip to TN, we live out in the country with the cows and would absolutely love to have you!!! Blessings sweet sister...I look forward to getting updates through your blog! Much love, Jenn
Gee, that sounds just like Liam's last hair cut!
